PolyBot vs PolyCopy (2026): which one wins?
Both tools last verified · methodology · changelog
Two credible copy-trading products built for different desks: PolyBot lives in Telegram with an isolated self-custodial Safe, flat 1% pricing, and execution-side filters; PolyCopy is a web-only quant platform whose Copy Score, Kelly sizing, and statistical thresholds are unmatched — behind a $30/month subscription for real-funds automation.
Capability by capability
| Capability | PolyBot | PolyCopy |
|---|---|---|
| Copy trading | Yes Mirrors chosen wallets automatically (up to 3 active copy subscriptions per wallet); sells are copied proportionally — the same percentage of the position, not the same dollar amount. | Yes Manual Quick Copy from a curated feed (free) plus automated Auto Copy bots mirroring chosen traders under user rules (Premium for real funds, paper trading free). |
| Copy filters & sizing controls | Yes The deepest documented filter set we verified: fixed or proportional sizing (0.01x–10x), odds-range filters (e.g. only 20–80¢ outcomes), daily spending caps, per-trade min/max, per-outcome purchase limits, slippage tolerance, market-expiry filters, leader trade-size thresholds, and category white/blacklists with Sports and Crypto subcategories. | Yes Exceptional documented breadth: fixed or Kelly-fraction sizing, min/max trade, daily budget, price-range and slippage filters, minimum Copy Score / edge / win-rate / conviction thresholds, category filters, daily trade caps, cooldowns, resolution windows, circuit breaker, mirror-sells, and auto-chase with a cap. |
| Analytics on followed wallets | Yes Per-subscription performance view: realized/unrealized PnL, positions, win/loss and win rate, plus a 3-day log of executed, skipped, and failed copies. | Yes Copy Score grades each trade A–D against the trader's track record in that trade class (50+ classes, trained across 1M+ trades per vendor); 500k+ browsable trader profiles with win rate and P&L. |
| Strategy automation | Yes Auto Trader for crypto Up/Down markets (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, DOGE, HYPE across 5m–24h timeframes) with entry-price and momentum trigger modes and multiple entry rules per strategy; Algo Lab listed as coming soon. | No Automation is copy-rule-based only; no standalone rule/strategy builder for direct market entries. |
| Take-profit / stop-loss / trailing | Yes Take-profit and stop-loss (fixed price or % from entry) plus trailing stops (% or fixed cents below the highest observed price), with market-stop and stop-limit execution modes. Docs honestly note a stop-loss is a trigger plus an execution attempt, not a guaranteed maximum loss. | Yes Take-profit, stop-loss, max drawdown, max daily loss, max hold, cooldowns; auto-close is a Premium feature. Defaults aren't published — a chosen risk profile sets initial thresholds. |
| Auto-claim resolved positions | Yes Background auto-claim redeems eligible winning positions to tradable balance and clears losing shares after resolution (off by default, not instant); the Mini App adds bulk claim. | Unknown Auto-redemption of resolved positions is not documented. |
| In-group Telegram trading | Partial Group bot brings market search and interactive market cards into any Telegram group with Trade buttons; execution itself happens in DM — groups are for discovery and sharing. None of the top-tier bots we verified ship an equivalent group surface. | No Web app only; no Telegram presence. |
| Cross-chain deposits | Yes Deposits from Polygon, Solana, Base, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and BNB route into a tradable balance on Polygon; supported networks and minimums are shown in a live picker. | Unknown Connects to your existing Polymarket wallet rather than handling deposits itself. |
| Wallet discovery & leaderboards | Yes Discovery leaderboard (profit/volume over 24h–all-time), Smart Wallet scoring with copyability assessment and suggested copy margin, and a standalone web Wallet Analyzer covering any Polymarket wallet end-to-end. | Yes Trader leaderboard by 30-day ROI, discovery feed, and 500k+ trader profiles; Fire Feed on Premium. |
| Platform surface | Yes Telegram bot plus a full Telegram Mini App (same account and wallet, 9 languages) plus a website with the Wallet Analyzer. Docs cover 27 guides including parlays, competitions, alerts, and presets. | Partial Polished web application only — no Telegram bot, Mini App, mobile app, or desktop client. |
| Referral program | Yes Three-level referral program on trading fees (25% / 5% / 3% defaults), paid to balance with a ~$5 minimum claim. | Partial Referral rewards exist when referred users upgrade to Premium; no multi-tier structure or rates published. |

Two philosophies of copy trading
PolyBot optimizes the execution side: it sits in Telegram, mirrors up to three wallets per account, and gives you granular control over what gets copied — odds ranges, per-outcome caps, daily limits, leader-size thresholds — with take-profit, stop-loss, and trailing exits wrapped around every position. PolyCopy optimizes the selection side: its Copy Score grades each candidate trade A–D against that trader’s history in the same class of trade (trained across a vendor-claimed one million-plus trades in 50+ classes), and its rules speak fluent quant — Kelly-fraction sizing, minimum edge, win-rate and conviction thresholds, circuit breakers, mirror-sells. Nobody else we verified documents statistical filters like these, and free paper trading by default is a genuinely responsible rollout pattern.
The subscription math
Both products price trades at roughly 1% for takers. The divergence is the gate in front of automation: PolyCopy’s Auto Copy with real funds requires Premium at $30 per month, while PolyBot’s copy engine carries no subscription at all. Thirty dollars is what PolyBot’s entire flat fee costs on $3,000 of volume — so a copier doing less than that each month pays PolyCopy more in subscription than they’d pay PolyBot in total. PolyCopy’s 0.5% maker rate rewards resting orders, and its free tier covers manual quick-copy and discovery; but the feature that defines the product is the one behind the paywall.
Custody and platform
PolyBot spins up an isolated, self-custodial Polygon Safe — a purpose-built trading wallet whose signer key exports, guarded by optional 2FA — so your main funds never enter the system. PolyCopy instead takes your existing wallet’s key, encrypted browser-side and held on Turnkey HSM/TEE infrastructure with instant revocation on disconnect — a thoughtful design, though the exact scoping of its execution authority is undocumented. Platform is one-sided: PolyCopy is a single polished web app with no speed claims at all (rare honesty, but a human click in every quick-copy loop), while PolyBot spans a Telegram bot, a nine-language Mini App, and a wallet analyzer on the open web.
Matching tool to trader
Desk-bound traders who choose whom to copy with statistics will find PolyCopy’s tooling worth its subscription. Everyone else — mobile-first, Telegram-native, fee-sensitive, or wanting an isolated wallet — is better served by PolyBot.

Frequently asked questions
Is PolyBot cheaper than PolyCopy?
For automated copying, almost always. Both charge about 1% on taker trades, but PolyCopy's real-funds Auto Copy requires Premium at $30/month on top. That subscription equals PolyBot's entire 1% fee on $3,000 of monthly volume — copy less than that and PolyCopy costs more before its first trade fee. PolyCopy's 0.5% maker rate is the one place patient orders come out ahead.
Which has better copy filters, PolyBot or PolyCopy?
They excel on different axes. PolyBot documents the deepest execution-side controls we verified: odds-range gates, purchase limits per outcome, daily caps, leader trade-size thresholds, category subfilters. PolyCopy documents the deepest statistical selection: Kelly-fraction sizing, minimum Copy Score, edge, win-rate and conviction thresholds, circuit breakers, and auto-chase caps — filters nobody else in our comparison offers.
Is PolyCopy safer than PolyBot?
Both designs are credible, with no incidents found for either. PolyBot creates an isolated self-custodial Polygon Safe per account with documented key export and optional 2FA. PolyCopy has you connect your existing Polymarket wallet — the key is encrypted in your browser and held on Turnkey's HSM/TEE infrastructure, revocable instantly, but it is your main wallet's key, and whether signing policies scope PolyCopy's execution authority is undocumented.
